I decided to modify....

Post by Ian Mac » 29 Aug 2010 11:28 pm

Ok, it's subtle but I finally decided to modify my 340. Amazing what you can do with a silver aerosol... :D

Mine are flaking to. I just removed the loose paint and touched them in by hand - the photo doesn't show it but it's not brilliant.

Shiny? It's the first car I had which needs polishing after every wash otherwise you can see every smear. It's a pain in the bum to be honest. This pic was taken today at Blenheim Palace, between rain storms..

You have ruined it, now it is only matter of time for cutting springs and installing tractor wheels with rubber strips sm75

Must say that it looks good, subtle is nice :D

Oh dear... silver paint is surely borderline chav

Although mine are badly peeling so I need to get some paint mixed up in the right colour to repaint them!

Nice and tidy as always Ian. The original dealer sticker in the rear window does it for me, I love those little details.

I've owned a maroon car before and I found it a chore getting it to look immaculate so I can sympathise!
