I would prefer a car that didn't need all that work, but one that was a nice colour, decent spec and hadn't been messed about with... I've got of mk3's & plenty of 5-doors, I only want a UK mk2 & a 3-door.
Never had any bother with my mk2 360 GLS save for stripping and cleaning the carb and a new fuel pump. The car had sat for 15 years though.retrocool73 wrote:What do the non-injection mk2 360's go like in comparison to the fuel-injected later GLT's?
That one was sold on eBay a couple of weeks ago, the elderly owner was asking £1450 for it then. I was thinking about buying it but it was oop north and difficult to get to for me.L14MNP wrote:Sorry to hear that mate! Scum!

Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com
It was. I paid 2k (eeeeek) for an immaculate D reg 4 door GLEi SE with leather seats and aircon, with only 36k on the clock and 1 owner from new. I reckon I'd have paid a grand for this two door.retrocool73 wrote:I'm still about! Might take a punt at this price, it might be a nice car but it (was) a tad over-priced was it not?
