wanted 340

[tramperdrift]

I am looking to buy a 340 in the new year when my cars been sold,

Would prefer a 3 door, 1.7 or 1.4 with a long MOT and lowish miles,
I will have around £500 to spend, and want to turn it into a drift car as it will be my first rwd car, but will need it for everyday use too.

If anyone will be selling around jan/feb and in the north west let me know,

I might be wrong here, but users of this site sometimes don't like people drifting these gorgeous volvo340's as they are such good reliable cars. Try ebay as I know there is one on there at the moment that might suit you. People arn't fans of drifters....sorry

Now now, don't go scaring the noobs away. Not all of us hate drifters But as said, ebay is your best bet for that money. Aim for something with high miles if you don't want to annoy the purists

I dont want to step on any toes and get a minter and i know not every one likes drifters but they are good for drifting

yeah i have been looking on ebay. saw that old red one, pretty cool but they are all so far away from me in blackpool.
and need to get my clio sold first

ideally i need a solid one with long mot- not bothered about the overall appearence cos i think they look cooler dirty

I think that article is harsh on the engines plus it doesnt even mention F7Rs

I think that article is rather out-of-date. I know there are still a few around, but they are hardly in abundant supply now, many having been drifted to death.

haha i agree they are PIMP!!
when i get one all i plan on doing is lowering, welding the diff, stripping and putting some nice black wellers. It will the pimpest volvo in blackpool

Get a BMW if you want drift. Same price and easier. I'm not against drifting at all, but I get slightly annoyed when people weld it, drift it, crash it, scrap it. Not saying you are, but you catch my drift. But yes they are pimp so I cant blame you.

Dont worry it wont get crashed, it will get used for drifting on track days but will be my daily driver mainly so i will want to keep it nice!!
BMs are nice but well common, chavy looking and double the cost to insure. Much prefer a volvo

We're all for that kind of use It's more a "keeping the scene alive" than "You crashed a 300... BURN HIM".
