What a cool car.
I think it deserves its own thread in the general section.

@ Trabitom
Now I remember too; we've even talked
Since the Ledenvergadering al lot of work has been done (paint, bumper, wheels, welding etc.), but she isn't finished yet... and she won't be until march/may. Summer 2011 she should be finished, though.
But she really doesn't have ONE SINGLE SPOT of rust anymore!!
I'll open a new thread when she's back (before 31st december, I hope).

Re: The Family! [we need your pictures!!]
On another thread titled '300 total mileage' I posted my 1988 360GLT saloon mileage of 16000 and had several pleasing requests for some pictures so here are a few.
I've owned the car from new but not used it for everyday travel until recently and now I use it for daily transport and just love it. It is original. I wouldn't claim it to be the best example because I have seen many really immaculate looking 300 pictures posted on this forum. Also quite a few similarly low mileage cars but is mine the only 'own owner' 300 still around? Quite possible, however thanks again to those who showed such interest in my 360.

A GLT saloon is more interesting still, there aren't too many of those! The UK Volvo Owners Club would probably know if there are other "one owner" 300s around with such a low mileage ...Mike360 wrote:Also quite a few similarly low mileage cars but is mine the only 'own owner' 300 still around?
In case you ever wish to sell, keep any bills or documentation you have for the car, it makes them more "desirable"

Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you.
Re: The Family! [we need your pictures!!]
My homemade bike rack. Took this on my phone after a 15hr, 1000+kms drive after christmas.
It worked a treat. Was rock solid the whole way. I had to spend a couple of hours picking all the locusts off the frames though
