POW!

Image

First image of loweredness. Still need the front springs to settle, around 1000miles. Rear end has now been highlighted as too soft. Extra leverage on the shock bushes (being rubber) makes it a little floppy.

Picking up the F7R tomorrow, cant wait! Should be very good.

Ah i see. thought I read somewhere you had some springs. What blocks are they? I went 2" rear, 3" front, though the front still looks alot higher, because of the higher profile tyre and lack of stretch. Mine scrapes the ground alot easier on the rear. What size blocks have you got? I would go 2" if you have 1" rear block, might be too "hot rod" otherwise.

Ah couldn't remember if they were 1 or 2 inches. I'd go 3 personally, chatting to peeps, the 300s supposedly handle a little better like that. I know mine does, helps with the stiffer springs too.

im thinking 3inches but then what about speed bumps and shit? also i want to get some landy shocks for the rear but not sure what to do when stiffening the front, surely the higher poundage springs are not enough. ive heard some people put thicker oil in the front but not to sure on how to do it.
get few more pics of your car up lowerd and ill see what i think  and then ill decide how low ill go

Lol and the rest ;)

Took me and Adam 2 1/2 days to do mine, after Adam had done a few and I'm used to pulling 1.7's out of them. Think it first started at 4:30am on a Thurs->Fri night when I was hoping to be at a pub 10 hours earlier ;) Worth it though!

Ha hA1 epic. I wasnt saying i could do it in a night, I meant I'd have to sleep over there, as the unit is quite far away. Not that i'd complain, its got heating, electricity and web, so its like a house.

Theo, thats not my engine, I'll get pictures tonight, just picked it up today. Gonna respray the rocker cover though, as its a lil tired.

I HAVE AN ENGINE!!! YEEEAAAAAHHH!!!
