Yeah man. Its nowhere near retro status, but "you dont see many of them around anymore" so i recon that scores a few cool points. But not scene points.

The niceset wheels ever IMO are 205 1.9 GTi speedlines, i have a set on the 206 that my brother is going to be using. Got a set of 14" 9 spoke pug alloys if you want them? bit modern for that like though

Yeah I do like the gti rims. The 1.6 pepperpots and the speedline jobs but frankly, the steerings heavy enough on skinny 13s. I don't want to go much wider really.

Wheel situation is now sorted. John has sold me a set of allycats on 0% apr. Terms and conditions apply.

I'll pop pics up when they're on.

Then new balljoints.

Then MOT.

Keep yer fingers crossed.

More newness added. Bottom arms and fully integrated ball joints. For more precise and direct steering win. Slack is for losers.

This is what "Drag Racers" reffer to as a "Wheel Stand"

Please note, do not EVER work under a car that is only supported by a mechanicly suspect jack.
........Unless youre git rock like John and Liam. Whose heeds are unchrushable.

Big Wheel Up!

Sexy colour coded springs.
And some gay legs/feet.

MOT on tues.

Wish the Pac-mobile luck.
Many thanks as always to John and Liam who are propper geezers.

Plans: MOT, Allycats, GSXR carbs, Trip to Bogg Bros, quickrack and a full ss exhaust system. In that order. Over the next ten years.

Straight after the 1st one Mark. I just said do the work and retest it.
2.5 hours and £60 all in.
They had to steal a mixture screw off an AX GTI carb and do some fiddling, then I was off on my merry way.
Result.

Really should have checked the bulbs before I set off though.
The handbrake did hold the car but only on the last click so I suppose that was arguable really.

No advisories is good news though. :P

So does it run same as without the screw?

French things can be odd sometimes, they can miss essential parts and still function perfectly, however when you add that essential part they go nuts
