Hi everyone
I'm after an original Volvo radio for my 360.
Anyone able to help?
Model numbers please.

Looking for anything in particular Glen? A 300/700 series style one:
VC608 (VC708 similar)

VC601

VC802

There's plenty to choose from anyway.
or a standard slot DIN E Volvo (Philips coded type) one?trabitom99 wrote: More radios from '85:
Some pics from the '89 accessory brochure:
and from '90
and this is the model to have
Cheers

Eeek how many models?
I've just spotted the unit I bought recently and it looks like it's too new for the car, bugger.
What have you got?
I'm in two minds, should I stick with one from the year the car was supplied, or do I cave in to a few more features from a later one? I don't want to go for a DIN sized unit, do it would have to be a 300/700 style unit.
A unit with the external booster connector would be a bonus as I could then make a lead up to plug the MP3 player in
And I'm after some speakers too!

Re: Radio Casette
I haven't got any going at the moment. Just asking you to narrow it down a bit.
So it's a 300/700 OEM unit you're looking for circa 1984? Front speakers in the footwells? Front speakers in the doors? Rear speakers in the C-pillars?
Be aware though that really old units like the CR-101 don't have the FM going all the way up to 108....

Re: Radio Casette
Unless one comes up for buttons I would save your money mate. They're all dog muck compared to a decent modern HU. Unless it's the OE looks you're after it for? Which again, I'm not a fan lol.
Anyway, check eBay, they come up from time to time - just like front wings.
