HEY.

Firstly, a video. Excuse the smoke, sensor issue.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA2960H49Yk

I had a go at giving a splatter effect with Ford's "terrible orange" that they use on the Focus RS. I "threw" the paint, using a brush, sticks, hands etc. Turns out that metalic spray paint is too thin. So it came out kinda gold coloured. However, it's not bad and it'll do for now. Enjoy some pictars and a videar of me doing it:

Cool! Like the steering wheel a lot!. Paint on the grill needs to be thicker though, looks a little like mud  I like the keys too.

Is that tunnel around brizzle? if so we should get a photoshoot on the go!

Glad you like it :D It's lovely apart from a small running issue I'm getting to the bottom of. I've been really tempted to buy a muscle car recently though

I've been a little busy in Speedy land, starting a new job and such. The tardis has proved pretty reliable though, bar a few non-starts (mostly electrical issues in the custom loom which were mostly my fault to begin with  )

I've since decided to rename my car. This was the tardis a few months after I bought it in August 2009 and after a knackered Fiesta diesel it was quite an upgrade! I was really happy to have it:

Image

That was then, a friend of a friend commented "did you travel back in time to buy that?" and thus "The Tardis" was born.

It's morphed into it's current form through ideas that I and other people have had along the way. It's become part of me that's not removable and like me, shares my bad luck. Thinking of names I realised that the orange striped ball in pool is a 13. And so I began to grow to this name. Being very un-supersticious I thought it was perfect. This and it's also the name of a character my favourite actress plays (Thirteen in House). Of course my car is just as pretty so it suited it down to the core.

And thus, The tardis is no more. And Thirteen has been born.

Image
I'm so scene it hurts.

In other news I decided to swap out my old rear shocks for some slightly less old ones. It was proper jokes - the old ones has stuff growing on them  After removing I put some weight on one and it sort of went *no resistance, no resistance, no resistance, no resistance, STOP*

More to happen this summer. More exciting stuff.

Ha ha! Like the new name! Shifter looks wicked. Might have to get in on this pool ball action  Have you managed to sort the running issues out then?
