Surely some higher tensile bolts of the same size would do the job?

Mine were a bugger to get off. Was sooo worried about rounding them. Luckily didn't.

I'd go highest strength available. I assume you haven't got any old bolts to measure up. They going on your car?

Hi mate.
There is a special tool that take them of when they are rounded.
Donn't know what its called but a decent machanic would be able to tell you.
Those hex jobs are a real bitch.

the only problem with using hex heads as your half shaft bolts is you cant really get a socket on as the gaitor is in the way
i just put some new caphead (allen key) and lock tighted them in as i had a issue with my exhaust vibrating 1 side loose as it was hitting the half shaft when i get back ill hook you up the same, also i bought a britool extension 6mm allen key makes life easier, you just got to use the right tools and loads of wd40 about 5-10 before you take em off!!!

if that dont help you let me know i will come and do it for you!!!

cheers luke
