Strut top bolt size?

Post by Nimminz »

Hi, going to start fabrication on a strut brace today and was wondering if anyone knows the diameter of the hole i'll need for the strut top bolts? I'm not with the car or i'd check myself.

Cheers,
Matt

will have to wait a while yet, just been out trying to cut the strut top parts using a hole saw for the central 'triangle' shape. found that the brand spanking new hole saw intended for heavy duty cutting of thick steel ...is utterly rubbish :(

might have to look at getting them machined for me, which is both cheating (as this little project was more intended as a fabrication exersize for me rather than handling gains) and costly
