Looks like the standard dash for a Mk1 343/5 GLS to me. They got a rev counter in the 2.0 versions.5lab wrote:looks like they had an unusual dash in there..
Terms and conditions apply. This post may go down as well as up. Regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Hard hats to be worn. No reversing without a banksman. No admittance to unauthorized persons. Stop that. Put that down. Leave that alone.
I have this folder at home.
Found it at my dad's attic, now it is at my attic.
It's from the German magazine "rallye racing", June 6th, 1981.
As the title says, they are not too positive about the R-Sport 343, as it seemed to offer very little more than a normal single-carb 343/345 in these days did.
In those days, the 343 R-sport also had to compete against other "sporty" cars such as the Renault 5 Turbo, Audi Quattro, and Ford Capri 2.8i and so... even now it looks a bit dull compared to those cars, but just how often do we see such a car still running eh...

360GLS, 220k, soon to be fitted with double carbs, and a 1993 850GLT.
