The colour of the bonnet is an off white, which I think is known as "Old English white ".

Only question is what's the rust situation like...any outwardly visible break-through on the leading edge? What's the inside of the leading edge like?

Dear Foggyjames,
The bonnet was bough (second hand ) to replace my original bonnet which had bad rust on the lead edge,( which I filled with body filler to get it through the MOT). This replacement was never used by myself, and has been stored in my garage. It has light rust spots, which are just cosmetic, which need painting etc, but is structurally sound. Hope this helps.
