I used to get daft insurance quotes then all of sudden, they became reasonable. It was at 21, it wasn't at 25. It was at 30. (thinking about it, I got a half decent one at 26)
But premiums have become daft. If you take into account inflation, my first couple of cars in today's money would be 600 quid (then 350/310) and the worst a couple of years later would be now around £1000 (then 640).
