Re: Meet the new non 300 Daily. Completed Project)
I think there is a rule for daily rides, those should be so boring that one has no interest of improving them, top job with the car, that is incredible beast you have made there, so are you looking new daily now?

Swap the rear diff with one from a 960, remove front driveshafts and weld front diff/angle gear - RWD C70 T5!

If going to that direction, why not fix engine mounting as well and put it in right way around, maybe even put that nice T6 twin turbo in it while at itV6 Man wrote:Swap the rear diff with one from a 960, remove front driveshafts and weld front diff/angle gear - RWD C70 T5!

At some point when my company is finally set up i will be using the 4WD rear suspension to make a RWD 850 platform car.
Rupert internally the diff is identical i can just remove the viscous coupling from the front.

Really? Now that's interesting, I'd always been lead to believe that the AWD rear diffs were a lightweight design as they only had to handle a maximum of 50% of engine power/torque. Knowing that they'll cope with400lb/ft is handy.

Its a G80 locker again in the back. and the awd system in adverse conditions can transfer 100% power to the rear!!
