It's a new European record for a 4cyl full chassis car and also a first 6 second pass in Europe for a 4cyl doorslammer! Owner is a Swedish guy named Krister Adeen.
As usual, specific engine information is a bit hard to get as the competition is tough at that level but here's some info what I've gathered.
Concrete filled B230 block, stroker crank (2,5l), 16V top and he runs methanol without intercooler. Boost levels are told to be around 4bar. The engine has been dynoed for above 1300hp but during that run here in Alastaro drag strip Finland the power level was estimated to be around 1400hp or so.
Not bad.. not bad at all. For a stockish block! One of the closest competitors at the same class is this Finnish guy, Mika Eloranta who runs a 4cyl Celica but he has a custom billet machined block with a Toyota 503E head and other quite exotic stuff. It's an amazing machine also though, great engineering as the team has manufactured the parts like the block themselves. http://grs-motorsports.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8157
These cars are full chassis cars and weight around ~1000kg.
Here are some old pics of Adeen's engine from 2007 (pics are from http://www.savarturbo.se) Probably a lot of changes has been done since.
