As above, just bought a volvo off a friend and the front passenger side strut it knackered. The bit where the spring sits has rotted through causing it to rub on the wheel.
Anyone got one as close to Buxton, Derbyshire as possible?
Or does anyone know if a strut off another model will fit?

The part is available from Hadrian panels for about 15quid new.

The sping plates need welded on..accurately and with a good weld.
The struts are a bit different depending on what model, 340/360/hatch/saloon.

AFAIK no 340 strut has a droplink mount and only late (don't ask me how late) 360's do

But at that price, I'd be tempted to buy a batch of 50 from Klokkerholm and punt the 48 I don't need on.

Buy a batch of platforms and get pally with the local powder coaters, voila a strut exchange program.
