Prop please

Its a New Year soon and i still haven't got hold of a prop yet.
It seems a bit wasteful having a car T+T'd and insured but i can't use it, so if you've got a prop please let me know.

Don't throw the old one away if the aluminium tube is good. There will be a point where they will be needed for the re-rubbering programme.

No i won't be throwing it out, i think i may possibly have the other old broken one too, although it's likely the landlord threw it out.

Just thinking out loud now, but what is stopping you drilling a hole through the tube and rubber and them holding it in place with a hefty nut and bolt, i pressume that would cause balancing issues?

Apart from balance, holding the thing together solid stylee will probably break something else in the chain.

I mean with keeping the rubber in situ aswell, but like you say it'd probably take out the little twist/give the rubber has.

That said atleast it'd get you home if the rubber tried spinning

Well that's if you find it easier carrying a cordless drill and bolt or a spare prop in the boot
