Justin,

Not sure which spring you need - from the part number it suggests one of the shoe
retention springs - your brake adjust thread suggests the adjustment pawl tension
spring (never supplied as a separate part from Volvo).

Whichever one you need, PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post to you.

Thanks, I managed to get the entire o/s self adjuster mechanism yesterday at a scrappy. It was the small "not available seperately" spring that I needed. I thought my current spring was no good as my brakes kept going hard and then soft and then hard etc. The small spring on the mechanism that I got was actually positioned the other way around to the one in your photo as was my current spring. I turned my current spring around this morning so that the coil section is nearest the fixed wheel and my brakes seem to be working normally now. I also checked my nearside spring and it's also positioned with the coil section closest to the fixed wheel which to me suggests thats its correct positioning and why my brakes werent working properly?
