Volvo 340 GL 1.7 Build Thread
Re: Volvo 340 GL 1.7 Build Thread
how long does linseed oil usually last? i tend to soak mine in tire shine normally but it fades after a week or two
Re: Volvo 340 GL 1.7 Build Thread
Linseed can last up to a few months depending on rain and sun exposure. A thick treatment of several coats (waiting for each to dry) should last longer.
Re: Volvo 340 GL 1.7 Build Thread
Well i put on 2 layers on each bumper and 2 on the grill about a week ago and they are still black as! Also it has been raining just about every day since i put it on so its pretty good as the water just runs off it as its oilhow long does linseed oil usually last? i tend to soak mine in tire shine normally but it fades after a week or two

It has been documented that this can lead to a world of pain dude. You may lose some paint/leave some marks. Plus, it looks a bit naff.Benfraser wrote:And could you take the side bump strips off? Thanks again
Up to you though.
