power steering pipe, 360

anyone got the solid pipe that goes from the middle of the steering rack and then goes back in the rack were the other pipes bolt in? mines pissing out from the middle of the rack because some clown has fuked it up undoing it or something and the place i get pipes made aint got that size pipe

I think they're just generic material aren't they? Could just pull one off another car's steering rack. Failing that, could you not just re-plumb them like brake lines out of copper pipe?

Go to your local Pirtek with the old one and get them to knock up a replacement.

No idea how much they'll skin you, but I'm sure they'll have the bits to get it done.

speedy the pipes bigger than brake pipe and the guy i use for brake dosent have that size pipe, im sure someone will have it but i will have to take it back off and measure it as i put it back on to try the car,

will have a look at pirtek, i had it in my head they was a plumbing company for some reason lol

:lol: Well they are sort of, oily/hydraulic type plumbers, like tail-lifts, cranes, diggers and anything else that needs fixing like that.

There may be others like them locally, look under "hydraulic engineers".

i will pop down next week, there is another hydraulic place near place near by that i can try, was hopeing to be lazy and find one on here but dont look like im gonna lol
