F4R conversion parts list

Hi guys looking at doing the f4r conversion.

Doing some research before i go wild spending. Had a search on google etc but cant find anything that contains enough detail. Would rather get everything bang on first time round if I can rather than trail and error.

I completed the f7p a few years back so I am guessing it's going to be pretty similar.

Can anyone shed some light on what is required?

F4R block
1.7 sump, bellhousing
1.7 alternator brackets and alternator????
Flywheel and clutch set up????


Any help is appreciated.

I think you'll need to modify the sump as the chain driven pump will not clear it. Other than that it's just the same as the F7Rs AFAIK.

Best give nev a buzz, as he's done the conversion. He chopped up the original sump and had the three mounting lugs for the sump mounted engine mount welded on, and the other side the holes are already there i believe (may need a thread tapping) to take the other mount. Apart from that i cant tell you anymore, best give him a call
