Right, So I've finally finished rebuilding my f7p valver and I have a few things leftover, that need to be gone since they are taking up valuable garage space, I will get pics up tonight or this weekend, I have a fair few pics to hand that I could email/text you if you want them, so PM for that. FREE f7p to whoever could pick it up..with a knackered bottom end, as far as I'm aware the cylinder head is still in order, If anything is recoverable that would be good, I'd rather that than scrap it, but that's where its going if no one can save it! (GONE TO JON OVLOV)

A 1.7 clutch that's new, we put it in to find out it didn't work..but it wasn't the clutches fault, it was the fact i forgot to put a spigot bearing in the f7p engine!! anyway we took it out and put my old one back in, wasn't even in the car for 24 hours, so while it is new, I realize I can't sell it as new so £OFFERS

Oil cooler/ water cooler piping, this was attached to my engine with a little thing in front of the oil filter, So i assume its a cooler of some sort £OFFERS

A brand new standard 1.7 exhaust back box £OFFERS, this is a hard item to post, so I'd prefer it if someone could pick it up. Might be able to deliver up to 20 miles or so but would need fuel money.

MAYBE a unwelded, decent 1.7 gearbox, will only let go for the right price, but thats definitely a pickup job

What do you mean by nakerd? Knocking bearings or seized?

bearings are definitely shot, i think it might be seized because the driveline locked up on me the last time it was running, you can still turn it with a socket though..so maybe not fully seized?? I imagine the cylinder head is fine but i dont want to be making promises if you see what i mean, your in bristol arent you john? would be good to meet you!

Ah ok. Not fussed as its free! yeah im in brizzle not too far from you. Ive wanted to re-build an f7 for a while. When do you want it shifted?

yea thats what I really want to do aswell tbh, I was planning to take it apart from the top down..because it doesn't matter what happens to it anymore!! could probabally sell cams, rocker cover etc aswell. but its my parents garage and they have more say than me lol, umm whens good for you? I might be free this sunday

Would be good to give it a new lease of life shame you cant keep and rebuild it.. Im at work until 5 sunday. After then will be ok though. chris ill give you a shout bud!

yea well i was planning to do vernier cams, throttle bodies main ACL bearings, the lot! but money, time and space say otherwise! would be good if one of you could do it!..i might buy it back then haha, yea drop me a line, hopefully im not working but we'll sort something out

Oddly that's why I wanted a spare engine to build up. I can still run the car but have one to take my time over/have as a back up. I'll PM you.

I'm glad your plan is to build it up, my plan is to use it as a jig if its too far gone, so as long as thats ok with you, we might have a use for it either way? I'm not trying to jump in, you have first dibs etc, I just hate seeing a thing get thrown away

I think john has beaten you to it atm mate! that's exactly why i don't want to scrap it, these engines are definitely starting to become a bit more sought after now!
