mk2 windscreen

im unsure if the mk3 screen fits a mk2

ive tried fitting a mk2 and the radius dont seem to be right so im in desperate need of a mk2 screen

cars got to be mapped this week and they wont do it without a screen in!!!

Shouldn't make a difference.

VIDA only goes back to MY85 and they only list two screens. One clear, one tinted with a blue sunstrip across the top.

My 1976-88 crash repair parts book shows three screens. One clear, one tinted (-84) and one tinted with a blue sunstrip across the top (CH 553212-).

Only the rubbers and locking strips/joints differ as far as I know.

ETA: Here's my MY78 which has a late (with the blue top band) tinted windscreen fitted.

I suggest you have another go at fitting it or get somewhere else to. Old, hard rubbers always make life difficult round the bends....

The screens are all the same size/shape.If new rubers are NLA get them to bond it in a use a transit flex trim
