Hello, yes, its a bit quieter on here than it was and we have chatted about why that is. The two main reasons seem to be that we were off-line for the first 3 months of this year (or was it last year ;-?) and now there is an active facebook page for those of more youthful persuasion than the 50+ fogies who have time to look at this site and for whom the years fly by like fortnights. Anyhow, keep up the great work and good luck finding that forever car.

I haven't been on here long but I'm on a lot of other forums.
Facebook is a lot more convenient for a lot of the younger crowd. Often admin on other sites will ban for sale ads from the facebook page and direct them back to he forum. It helps to move General traffic back here.
There's a lot of nice petrol blue 1.7's on 'the bay' at the moment... but, one of the sellers has posted sideways pictures of his (very good-looking) car so I either have to lie on my side to see it properly or turn my laptop through 90 degrees....

I've emailed Aymat on occasion and kindly requested for the odd one or three to be dug up from the grave and it has happened. If you require it quicker then there is always Google's cache of the page in question. Not the easier method to view multi-page threads but it does the job.

I'm of a more youthful persuasion, but I don't do FriendFace either...
Hi all.
When Face book first came out, i asked my daughter what it was all about
and do you know what she said?
"Daddy, its not for old people"
However, when she went to live in Germany, i joined up as it was a great
way of keeping in touch on the cheap.
Cheers Mark.
