injectors

Post by 360beast »

I'm thinking of swapping in the head and block from my B230ET while my 360 is in restoration mode.

I would be swapping over the engine mounts and inlet manifold and keeping it N/A for the moment. What do I do about the size of the injectors? Will the B200E ones be fine or do I use the ones from the B230ET?

I'd go with the originals, they are matched to amm and controller, they fuel system only has a Max bhp and doesn't really care what size the engine is. I would expect the B200E should be fine with the small increase.

I would be more worried about ignition timing, changing CR or cam will change the burn characteristic. However there are many Renix units to chose from.

Thanks Ride_on, the cam will still be an A cam as that's what the 531 head comes with on the ET.

How much power and torque am I looking at gaining from the B230? I'm not really doing it for this mainly just to make life easier when I fit the turbo stuff.

As with my 965 T6, who's gonna expect that from a 360? Which over here are civic like in nature?

Not sure what compression you will have, but a turbo engine without turbo will probably be a drop in power.

Compression is 9:1 but hoping the increase in bore size and 531 head will make up for it.
