Hello all.
So as you all know she passed the MOT, however upon driving her i was not getting much "gearing up", so some investigation was needed.
It turns out that the outer seals were not sealing and letting air in, new seal were obtained and and lot of reading later and thanks to Mac for all his help in making me understand.

Now just got to wait till i cna put them back on to the car and test her.... fingers cross
Now for some R+D, I am replicating the De-clutching servo, it is coming on quite nice

Good day all, Well today is a good day, managed to get the repaired parts back on the car.
17/10/2017
With the repaired parts fitted back to the car and tested the vacuum on both sides at the drum and the 4 way vac valve, she is now holding vacuum.
So time for her first proper outing, just a short trip across the moors as it was raining.

I can confirm that the new seals have helped a lot, however there is still an upgearing issue, so going to test the electronic side of things.
Will keep you posted.

Hi Ben.
That is just brilliant work. I remember last year going to a show and
seeing Ride-ons rebuilt 360 and going Fxxk me, that is class. You must be
a proud man to have built that . Well done.
Cheers Mark.

I am quite proud of myself, still have a few little things to do but they have to wait, need to sort out why she is not upgearing quite right, working through the fault guide from mac atm.
Can't wait to have her at a show, soon I hope.

I can only second Mark's comments, but I wonder what else he thought at the meeting.

Hello all
02/11/2017
I am please to say that i finally found the problem with my up gearing with thanks to Mac, and James. the transistor in the black box was replaced which saw the solenoid click at 1800rpm or greater, so she went on a quick drive.

However she was not up gearing still, so headed back and tested the vacuum, there was a small vacuum so decided to try the other 4 way valve I had, this yielded a much greater vacuum, and now while driving along if i hit the low hold switch the revs ramp up and then down after the switch is turned off. So it would seem that all aspects of the CVT were at fault, the seals in the drums, the 4 way valve and the black box. However i am glad to say that she is now driving at last, the belts still need tensioned correctly and the de-clutching servo needs adjustment along with maybe the clutch shims.
