Hi, my VOLVO has a big empty space under the hood and I found a picture of a car with something in that place.
I wonder what is that piece for and if my car is either missing it or it is just a version that didn't come with it, since I also found another picture that looks just like my car. I don't have my car here to take photos but it has some marks like saying that something used to be there.

The top one is a carb model and the bottom is injection.

What Bog said, you will have a carburettor so have a panel filter and the injection one has an oval filter the other side of the engine bay.
