hi all

Post by uldis »

hey nice forum you got here a swedish freind of mine found it for me as he has recommended me getting a volvo 360glt for a first car ive already looked into insuring it and I was very pleased with £1300 for a year on third party only considering I had 1100 on a 1.1 micra sm53. I havn't told any of my friends though haha they'll think grandad soon as I would mention it... but about 115bhp and rwd I can't complain :D

I have been lurking a while and im thinking of purchasing a 360 in the next few months.

Excellent :) Welcome to the forum! One of the reasons I bought my GLT was the cheap insurance. Will be great fun for one as a first car, and severely p*ss all over your mates in their 1 litres ;)

Where are you located? Theres a few for sale at the moment!

That is about the right price for a 17year old without no claims, unfortunately :(

Must be because of the electric windows, power steering, central locking....

Ah, you live in the UK, I was aware of the high rates there.
I thought you lived in Sweden.

welcome Uldis , How old are you ? £1300 to insure a volvo third party is pretty scarey from where im sitting when you consider you could buy at least 3 good 300's for that . I suppose its one of the few advantages of age that my insurance is only £276.00 a year fully comp
