I find having normal heavy steering not to bad to have seeing that I'm 5ft 2in skinny and a dumb blonde! I passed my driving test in a (steve p machine) but a 106 version that had PAS give me heavy steering any day of the week and also I test drove a 460 (my engine donor) and felt like I was floating on air! If I had a cop car behind me he/she would accuse me of being on drugs with the way I was driving (by the way I'm not I get hyper on coffee!!)

OI what is wrong with being older than 20 something?
40 and still going strong.
i remember an aussie once told me it took him 3 days to go from one side of his country to the other in his car. My advice to him was to get rid of this piece of ford crap and buy a volvo as i can get from west coast to east coast in 2 hours in a volvo.
Volvo drivers do it with safety in mind.

maybe that's more like saying Feck, and errr... twit.... perhaps...
I'd like selective steering.... I want really tight, responsive steering at speed, but I hate having to wrench the wheel round when parallel parking on hills or 22 point turns, as is sometimes necesary in brum.

No need for pas, nice to have heavy direct steering. As for it being hard to U-turn, your clearly not using your 300 to its full potential. Stick your foot to the floor and spin it around
