Leaflet?
Leaflet?
Is there a 300 mania leaflet I can stick on a couple local cars to let them know we exist? One is a nice 360 with some mods:)

Erm, any update with this one please? There is a beautiful RED (i.e. NOT PINK) 340 1.7 near me. It never seems to move from under its car port. Ooo, I think I'm in love with that car and I need to get the owner onto the forum.
It's a crime, having a car like that and doing nothing but polish it. They should give it to me so that I can thrash it each day on the way to work, just like Volvo intended.

yeah we all need these cards , perhaps something that can be funded from the paypal account , maybe Pete can get them made over here (as he is a high flying company director of his own business he must have some contacts ) and Aymat do a euro version, when I was at the gym this morning (leave it if you know whats good for you ) there was a nice G reg 340 gl in red that I was parked next to as usual no paper and no pen to hand but I am sure I will see it there again.

I did want to get some progression with this matter. I too have seen many cars that it would have been so useful to have a card to alert the owner to this excellent resource. Such as one car has a broken indicator, a very nice J reg 340 local to me, so when it comes to MOT time, the owner may have trouble in sourcing the part, here we can surely help them out. And how many 300 owners find a small fault, that they cannot fix or no one else will attempt, that then eventually leads to the car being sold or scrapped? With the help of the forum this may not be the case. And after the parts, advice and help there is the friendly atmosphere.
I'll do what I said and get on with something. Here's an idea.......an idea I might add, that I can source some thick glossy paper quite cheaply, and I'm split on one thing. It would look more professional if each person had their own details (should they wish) to be printed on, name, username, phone number (if they wish) email address, rather than a blank gap to fill in. This way the person will know who left the card, can contact them if they wish before joining the forum, or if they don't have the internet still be known, yes it's true, some people still haven't found the ol 'tinternet. So, I could print up the details on the chosen design and send them out, we'd figure out a small fee to cover costs, i.e. postage and materials. Or, as an alternative or a second option, make the design for the person interested, send in a file format so they can print as many as they like themselves. Also with this card, the details are present, and there is space on the back if you do have a pen handy to write something.
Let me know your ideas. I'll start another topic in a minute with a poll.

Can't we come up with a design that can be e-mailed out to members with gaps for us to fill in our details, a generic text programme would do:
MS Word, Publisher or similar or other widely used programmes

Indeed, that was my thinking, or along those lines 990. MS (not that I like them at all) Word would probably be the most common format available to all members here, so with a flexible design, I'll sort something that can be emailled or even better, downloaded from the site, in a small file that you can then print it yourself. I'll sort that soon. I'll get some ideas together.
