Help wanted to sell clear lenses.

Post by mefistofeles »

Hello again.

I have been trying to get buyers for clear lenses before on this forum This time am not going to sell them, but am looking for someone that can help me do it for me.

Need a contact person that can advertise this product and collect money and send the lenses to buyers.

Its no pay check for doing this. Only the joy to make 300 owners satisfied.

Send me a email if you are interested and i give you more details.
300power@bredband.net

Greetings

Yeah - I was after front indicator lenses, not the side repeaters because I've a Mk2 and could easily adapt some from some other application I'm sure.

I'm not sure about dealing with all the hassle of the retail side...

I'll have to consider it - have lots on my plate right now (like everyone else I suppose).

What's the unit cost?
How many do you need to sell to make it viable?
What kind of availability do you have, and over what time frame?
Who on here wants them?

Cheers

The price for one set of front indicator lenses for MK2 is: 64 GBP
It´s high quality lenses made from Radicast http://www.radicast.se.
To start the production radicast want one first order on 30 pair lenses.
The total cost for the first order is: 1 915 GBP

The idea is to have a contact person in UK that advertis and collect money from UK buyers. Then he make a money transfer to Radicast or me, when UK and Sweden togheter reach 30 buyers.
I collect the lenses from radicast and send the numbers of reserved lenses to the UK contact person. Then the buyers can get the lenses from the contect person. If its a great distans he use mail.

This my ide how it should work.

The deadline is 28 Jan 2006. If we want the lenses to be ready to the summer 2006.

I am available on email or MSN:

Like a certain Volvo Truck Turbo Mr Griz has, it's got a Volvo part number, what more do ya want!?!

I can see the potential for these lenses, it's a nice idea that a few people really would like, it's such a shame that the numbers needed are quite high to get it done. The few that are really keen may not get the chance as there may not be enough people interested. Personally, it's not something high on my wish list, though I do like the look it could achieve, but I don't think it would suit my car in all honesty. But, for those interested, it's another really good opportunity for new 300 parts to be produced, high quality ones at that, a rare chance, so don't miss out, if you're keen get your name down, and I'm sure someone would be willing to act as the UK contact.

Yes Foggy if you want to act as a contact person ill be happy. I belive members of 300mania have confidence for you to handle the money.

Delete the old list and make a new. Old buyers maybe have change their mind.

It now or never.

Deadline 28 Jan 2006 to order. 28 Feb 2006 is deadline to pay Radicast.

So how about it chaps? Will these be available afterwards to individual order (like with Radicast's other products)? If not, I might take a second pair.

cheers

I still can't justify spending £64 on indicator lenses. I appreciate the cost involved in making be-spoke products, but in my eyes they're just not worth that. So I'm out. Though I reckon they will look awesome on the 'right' colour 300, and good work for making it happen!
