That's true MJ....but maybe if the people who wanted saloons tallied with those wanting side-views...see where I'm going with this ;)

cheers

I see, I think we need a second poll

This is getting very complicated. Perhaps everyone wanting a shirt should post their desired bodystyle, # doors, bodykit-or-not, colour and 3 view/side and see if there are any patterns.

Me
Saloon, 5 door, with bodykit, dark blue (or lighter perhaps to reduce colour variety) and side view

I think people are over personalizing these ( i still want the redline and wing graphics sm16 )

As I said before this is a CLUB shirt , whatever car we choose is a representation of what we all drive and not our actual cars .

personally I think this

Image

is the perfect CLUB shirt and kind of mirrors the car at the top of the website

or use the same picture but with a white car on black background

the logo on the back is an excellant touch but I dont think we need our names on there.

forget saloons ( even though I have one ) unless we have a smaller picture of both hatchback and saloon on one shirt side view again and obviously with the saloon following the hatchback LOL

and forget any other colours as the black outline fades to much

if we dont come to a decision soon it will end up like the contact cards and never happen

I certainly agree that this is becoming too complex, and I think that the one you posted Mick is the best, but we don't all want Dekay on the back

That car is probably the best image as well, although personally I think there should be a hatchback version and a saloon version. This would give more choice. We could have the version you posted, and the one Steve edited as the Saloon

This would also be good for people like me who are considering getting two. I could have one of each version. Also people who don't like the red could go for the saloon version.

I say we have shirt 1

And shirt 2

Yeah i'm fine with that damn you lot making me waste my time yesterday making all the other versions :(
I think its probably best sticking with those two designs though, next question do we just want side view or projection view on the front for the hatch and saloon then? I really don't know what to do as i've totally finished all the standard ones with a copy saved for every colour ready to send to the printer. I think i've done the colours for the cars of people that are interested and most of your cars are standard(ish) so really imo its better just to offer the stock saloon and hatch in all those colours so that everyone has the same design just different colour to match your real car,
cheers

Well some of us do have bodykits, curse you Steve ;), and some of us would like one, and it's sort of aspirational.

That's my car, but how I'd like it to look. When other people see the shirt they're going to think, 'hey, that Volvo looks cool' rather than, 'why do they have a shirt with an old Volvo on it'.

I was joking Mick as you said "I dont think we need our names on there", but the image had Dekays :P

I'm not sure how popular the saloon version of the tshirt will be.. there's say only two of us that are interested in the saloon tshirt? Even though it's my car I can't see it being as popular as the hatch version (the majority of 300 owners have a hatch) - and we need to keep costs of printing down.

I much prefer the more discrete look of the 3-projection logo...and a significant proportion of the votes went to this look. I think if we've got two designs, we want to cater for both designs.

Right then guys this should be fine!! The two car designs only and two views. Four image options in total. All to have Dekays logo on the neck at the back?
The site will also offer different styles of shirt, colours and sizes.
The seller will put a section in his ebay shop for us!!! Which also means other things can be considered in the future!!!

Contacted the printer and emailed him the design, he wants the image bigger cause he thinks his machine will have problems with the pixelated edges or something. We've emailed him again with the ammendments done but can't do anything with the image size other than completely redo them and I haven't got the time to do all 4 designs again. We've asked him to see what he can do so hopefully Adam should be having one made any day soon to cheque the quality and how it comes out, then we can go ahead with the ordering for everyone,
cheers

Well guys the bad news is that they wont be ready for christmas. As he is mega busy.
But it does mean there is potentially more time to get teh design as good as possible.
The problem with the design is that as the edges are pixelated (jagged) as the image is small the printer wont like it as it traces the design.
