As much as I joked... I don't mind the look of the estate, but the dealers catalogue would have been a bit swamped with estates!

As for a group meet, if we could organise it early enough, might work, we were all dead impressed when Francois turned up at out first meet. Convoy of 300's from all different countries, that would be a sight (or to most, a nightmare ;))

By the time they'd got the estate built the V40 and S 40 were probably on the drawing board in a swift move to jelly mould cars. :cry:

what engine was in the van could it have been a choice petrol or diesel
does any body have any idea how it would have been finished of inside

Like the idea of the joint meets, I'd be up for an international trip, be a good laugh! And as Chris said, an amazing sight, a convoy of 300's from different countries!

Personally, I like the estate, the rear door isn't right, or the rear window, but the basic idea is there!
