amazing stuff, wish i had some guts to attack and pull apart my car , i guess you couldnt share where you got your steering boss kit from?, ive bidded on one at ebay but not heard a thing yet, been a week or 2 now
Boss kit is a modified 400 one. I bought the rare 480 non airbag steering wheel and boss kit off the internet. I then modified the boss to take the 340 horn ring as the spline is the same.

As for the welding skills its my cousin mate. He did a welding apprenticeship so hes pretty damn gud!!!
As for the painting i am not bad with aerosols but never used a spray gun. We have loads at the garage and my uncle used to spray for the same bloke my car is with now. So i use him at gud prices!!!!
The painting i do with aerosols the trick is the prepping!!! Its gud for small items but nothing like panels really.

somethign that might suit it (not sure - got the idea cos at first glance it looked like you had it) - a thick gauge mesh in front of the fogs, maybe flush with the valance, similar stort of thing to the stuff some hella bumper-mount jobs..
Very nice indeed. I wish I had some better facillities. Of course 90% of the problem is me being lazy, but a nice warm dry garage at this time of year can't exactly hurt the old motivation...
