Radiator and electric fan for 1984 340dl

Hi All,
Does anyone in the UK have a radiator and electric fan for a 1984 340 dl 1.4? This is the smaller rad with the electric fan mounted between the rad and the grill. My radiator is knackered and leaking and the bearings are gone in the fan(it had a bash a couple of years ago!). I'm having problems finding the right one.

could you fit a newer one to it, or will it not fit?

Hi,
I'm not sure actually - although I would'nt mind finding out. I don't think the electric fan will fit though on the other side of the radiator. I'll have a look at it. I managed to find a newer radiator, but was told it was different. If I can find a fan to go with the newer rad and it fits, then great - I'm on my way!.

well, try volvospares (www.volvospares-uk.com) - they can probably source you an old one..

Hi again,
I tried Volvo spares. Believe it or not, they don't have any of those fans. I am therefore stuck. Is there anyone on the forum who has one they may be prepared to part with?
