Where abouts are you? 340s come up quite often, keep an eye on ebay and autotrader
you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a good condition one, but prices have risen a bit recently thanks to them being "discovered" by fastcar

Wouldn't worry about mileage, I don't think it'd be a generalisation to say that all engines in the 300 series are capable of high mileages. I'd rather look for regular servicing and evidence of it being looked after.

Check out ebay - nice 300s come up quite regularly.
