Next question!
Ok, I am replacing my passenger side wing, we got to the stage of undoing the bolts around the top, front and under wheel arch but now have to tackle the ones behind the door. Any tips on the easiest way of removing the door hinges? This door will have to go back on as I havent found a suitable replacement yet but i have got a new pair of hinges.

Dont need to take door of Gem, undo the check strap between the hinges and you should be able to get a 1/4" drive socket and extension behind the door to undo them. If you put it in the gap at the top and slide them down the gap.

Thanks Ad. Couldn't see the middle bolt at all thus taking off the door seemed the only way to get to it. Looked from every angle but just can't see where the bolt is and we have only got standard tools. We are looking to take the hinge pins out tomorrow to get the door off - any advice? Unless we are missing something really obvious!

Try using a 10mm socket of the 1/4" variety on a long extension bar. It won't go in straight onto the middle nut, but will do at an angle which is enough to undo it.
