Speedo Cable for '60

My speedo cable has given up the ghost.

Anyone know how much volvo charge for a new one?

Is there any difference in cables across the 300 series?

Not sure but I remember seeing one on ebay over the last couple of days - worth a look!

cable is not too bad at about 25 quid-ish, but you have to get a modified grommet and clip to put in the front wheel bearing cap cos the new cable is a different diameter at the wheel end.

Steve, I'm pretty sure that eBay cable is for a Smiths set up. Well remembered anyway!

Pettaw, I've ordered the partfrom Volvo - and yes, there's some kind of adaptor neded to retrofit the cable. Ordered that too.
