I've decided I've not been giving that poor 360 enough love of late. I had it hand-washed on Sunday, and it's gleaming. James
just a word of warning , we have had a lot of these hand wash places open up in milton keynes ( mainly worked by eastern europeans) and the materials they use are usually very bad quality, so much so that not long after having the toyota done , the lacquer started to peel on the tailgate of the toyota ,
Do it yourself and you know you won't damage anything (says the guy who broke his headlamp wiper when rushing to finish before dark )
A good wax really does improve a car. If you don't have time, just use car shampoo with wax in it. I've used it the last couple times, and although not as good as a proper wax it really does look good
I've taken my car to a couple of places like this before - might think twice in future - It's only beacuse I've been lazy in the winter and its just too damn cold!
Crikey Mick, that's shocking. This place was the first in the country, has a reputation for quality, and uses only local Derbyshire lads(!).
I was working on the basis that it was better than either not washing it, or taking it to a machine wash....me hand washing it wasn't going to happen, and a new rust spot has appeared as a result of it having sat unwashed for 4-5 weeks. I'm feeling the pain right now...
Rust because of not cleaning? I just rub out the cr*p from the arches ever so often. You lot have seen my cleaning, although I really should, I'll happily spend days/weeks/months on a new mod, and then not clean it for ages
