Anyone know O.D. of 1.7 downpipe?

As above does anyone know the outer diameter of the end of the 1.7 downpipe?

dunno, but maybe I can measure it for you if the rain lets up. Do you need where it bolts onto the centre box (IIRC there's a narrowing) or do you need the main O.D?

Yep I was looking for where the middlebox slips over or if anyone has a 1.7 exhaust off the car to be able to measure the internal diameter of the pipe, don't worry if its raining Andy, i'm sure Dai or someone will know without you getting wet

I'm fairly sure it 1 3/4" pipe. I have thought of making a full system in 2" but the 400 manifold is much better to work with. The clearance on the steering coloum is tight so be carfull.

Don't suppose you have any 1.7 middleboxes lying about Dai just to double check. Its not for my car so I don't want to make a balls of it and make it the wrong size, just need the internal diameter of the piping,
