During low speed start stop my 360 is on almost stall (I am thinking clutch badly adjusted or on way out)
but...
after this when I set off I am getting a massive banging noise from the rear - is the prop shaft on its last legs here, something worse or is it an easy fix?

If i were you, i`d check prop shaft in both ends (from transmission and engine), gearchange-system (whats the word?!?), and clutch also.
Check that nothing isnt loose and if its loose then tight it ...It also might help if i know better words in english
don't bother about the front, 360s don't have a clamp on the front end of the torque tube, it goes directly into the clutch plate.
On the back end of the torque tube, you might have to remove the cover plate to see it, there's two small rubber bungs and these cover up the holes, if you remove the rubber covers you'll be able to check the clamps.

You know that sounds sort of straight forward - I hope it is as easy as it sounds
