Yep, I removed the backbox section and used a combination of solid and flexible pipe to join it to a universal backbox, then just made some mounts for the backbox to hang on the original mounts, probably easiest if you have a welder but mine is all just bolted in position and is fine... video of it ....

Unfortunately I don't actually have the video, someone else filmed it and put it onto putfile so I don't know how to download it. The backbox is made by Rage, just one of their universal ones, my mate paid about £120 for it new and I bought it off him for £30! Any universal ones will do though but you won't need to change anything other than the backbox or it'll be too loud really, although having said that the Rage backbox doesn't exactly do much silencing!
