Why not remove all the interior before you have a go at the sound proofing? Seems kind of weird. BTW...a heatgun will make that sound proofing nice and soft so it comes off in bihgger pieces.. Getting it off at regular temperatures is hell. Dry ice and a chisel is also a popular method. Just wait till you get the rubber/foam isolation off of the fireewall... it's unbelievably heavy.

I would remove the whole interior to do it as I did on my last one but i'm using the car for bits and bobs everyday. Yesterday I only had time to do the boot, going to try and get the rest of the back of the car done today and then spend a whole day doing the front so that the car only spends a day off the road.

I just thought it was weird to do a relatively marginal weight reduction by removing sound deadening whilst not chucking the unneccessary parts of the interior in the bin or basement.

That's more like it! Is that a driftworks sticker I spot on the side window? Was supposed to get one myself but my friend Mux (he comes to driftworks forum sometimes) snatched it.

Yep its the old style one, got a new style one on the rear screen too (came free with a t-shirt). Do you have anymore pictures of your 360 or 86?

Hmm well that was quite interesting. Came off a roundabout today in 2nd onto a dualcarriageway, waited till I straightened up, floored it flat to the floor and wheels span up straight away and fishtailed from about 35-50  Also had it spin up a little shifting from 2nd to 3rd! Unfortunately my flexipipe on the exhaust decided to shear itself at some point during the day so it's sounding a little more raspy and given me something else to fix tomorrow!

Maybe there was petrol on road? Well still would need wet weather to make it slippery.

1,6 litre, no turbo...

Yeah it was completely drenched everywhere today! Was spinning up so much on 1st to 2nd changes. Thats damn impressive for the 1.6 sierra!

Rumor tells that petrol truck took turn too fast once and petrol was all over the road, after that every time it rains that place becomes very, very slippery, there is often accidents where car starts to slide even ppl drive normally. No way 1,6l sierra could do that even on wet otherwise, at least not so beaten one as that

It's been rather wet here today, which makes life rather interesting as I have shockingly awful rear tyres - I got wheelspin in 2nd pulling away from a couple of junctions, and properly sideways at 5mph in the work car park!

Who says stock 360's are hard to get sideways

 Have you checked that you still do have that black stuff caller 'rubber' left on your wheels at all

I have got that kind of effect only at winter, well on track too, but I really need to corner fast, really fast, not on straight.
