Which R spot turbo kit are you refering to?
THe carb or injection one?
I would not even bother trying to find one rare as rocking horse @##@.
If you want to turbo the 360 look no further than the 740/760 turbos - bung in the complete engine.

R-Sport carb turbo kits (originally meant for 240 but some were installed on 360 too) are fairly common in Finland*, there are complete kits available for sale from time to time, but the kit doesn't include anything special which you couldn't gather from a bigger turbo Volvo.
Actually there's one kit for sale currently at this Finnish Volvo board's sale page.
http://volvolandia.com/markkina/index.p ... adid=26676
As can be seen it doesn't contain anything special, oilpan which has a return line, downpipe and other exhaust parts, mechanical r-sport fuel pump, turbo model dizzy, pressurized Strömberg carb, boost piping and the plenum, oil cooler, the turbo it self and all small bits and bobs..
All those can be scavenged from a 240, 740 or 940 turbo, so there's no point to try and locate a R-Sport kit, because it's usually easier to pick those parts from some other turbo Volvo.
Our -86 360GL has a slightly modified R-Sport turbo kit, it was installed at the dealer somewhere in the 80's. Basically the parts are same as in R-Sport kit but the carb isn't Stömberg, but the Weber 32DAT, also the intake manifold is the 360 original one and ignition is still the Renix one, though I don't know if it has some modifications done to it, vacuum advance isn't connected, that's the only visible mod.
It also has Turbo model pistons, as the B200K has a 10 compression at stock, so it wouldn't work with carb turbo.
Performance gain is notable even at low boost levels, much more quicker than a 240 with same mods..

* Those R-Sport kits are common here because of the taxing we had in the 80's..
All cars with big engines, lots of power and with many accessories were heavily taxed back then.. that's why there are so many aftermarket turbo kits around. Taxes are also the reason why we got the B19ET engine as an option for 240 too, engines over 2 litre were taxed much more than smaller ones.
There were dealer installed aftermarket kits for many other cars too. Ford Sierras were quite popular targets, they were called "Stockmann Turbos" after the dealer which installed the kits, which was Stockmann Auto.
There were even aftermarket turbo kits for Ladas.
Konela, which was the Lada dealer, sold and installed those. There are still few of those around and some are restored and tuned for current day specs. Boxy Lada with over 200hp is quite a sleeper, the car doesn't weight too much...

Jesus...you lucky git! Any more of those lying around?! All I have so far is the R-Sport boost gauge. I'm guessing you're in the UK...
Interesting oil cooler placement...where are you feeding air to it from...through the stock round hole there?
I'd definitely consider upgrading to an intercooler in the fullness of time by the way - and do yourself a favour and go straight to a 'large' one, rather than adapting a Volvo one to fit.
cheers

Yeah, chinese full aluminium, bar and plate intercoolers are very cheap nowadays and those are enough for few hundred hp so there's no point to adapt an ancient Volvo one.
For example KL-Racing in sweden sells those.
http://www.klracing.se/
The largest one, 78cm wide costs ~200euros and smallest is below 150e so kinda cheap.. Though you can find those on ebay even cheaper sometimes.
Even though those are made in China, they are proven to flow and work good.
Edit: And btw that's VERY clean setup! Good work. Could you take some more photos of the oil cooler and it's mountings as I am about to relocate mine in GLT. My oilcooler in the GLT is currently behind the front grille but as I'm about to fit an intercooler, I must put the oilcooler in somewhere else to make a room for the IC.

WOW! That is one lucky find, nice one, it's looking great, it'd be interesting to know the actual gains it gives in performance. Am I right in saying you're in Northampton somewhere? If so I'm not a million miles away. That really is something I'd like to see in the flesh. How did you're Dad come to have such a fantasic bit of kit lying around! Must've been a special order or something for someone who never had it. What a find, it only there were more such items lying around for us to discover easily!
