Not bloody much at the moment :(

Buying a house is draining all my money! Plus any time I do get to work on cars is spent on the 2 BXs and the misus' MR2 at the moment, so poor old Fioner has been sat in the garage for weeks without any interest being shown at all :(

Plans at the mo is as follows:
1. New front suspension (all ready and waiting to go on)
2. New brakes all round (just need discs and pads and I'll have eveything)
3. Do some local 12 cars and scatters, maybe some Nat B events depending on finances
4. Wales Rally GB
5. Rebuild the B230 I have in garage
6. Sort out stainless exhuast
7. Buy a cheap/scrap 240/740/940 and swap engine management into Fioner then lob the rebuilt B230 in for some cheap frills

Well the MR2 and one of the BXs is having work done ready to be sold, so with any luck both of those will be out of the way soon. If I get rid of the other BX it'll probably be to swap it for a Xantia Turbo/V6 :P

I'm a sucker for older cars - which generally means I end up doing plenty of work on them myself. Really I should just go buy a decentish, reliable, economical car for my daily driver, but where's the fun in that :D

did a 12 car last night and it was good fun for me but not for my bro who was reading the maps. the roads were great, mainly single tracks and it was like driving on marbles alot of the time. my bro became ill after a short while and couldnt read the maps so used the tulips instead. managed to finish 7th after missing a few route checks. most of the other cars were full on stage prepared but the stnd volvo managed to hang on the bumper of them for short periods. we couldnt believe how fast they collected rc's.....
good fun though :)

I track my 360 a few times a year on tracks around the netherlands (zandvoort/spa/nurburgring), the rest of the year is spent saving up and fixing it.
Might take to drifting with it as well.. if some good instruction/practice days pop up that dont cost a fortune. Tried it with my toyota ae86 once but the damage i did to my diff cost me about the equivalent of 3 complete v360's :(

Thanks...

It wouldnt be so difficult to maintain, but as it is I have 2 other cars that also soak up time and money, so the 360 has to make due with whatever time I have left for it. Not being anyones daily driver has put it lower on the priority list.

BTW, I was looking at the vid of a drift UK event last sunday, which was won by an ae86 (might be the only one to appreciate that over here though), and I saw a 340 drifting amongst the bigboys in the practice runs.. might this be someone from V3M?

As a side note Sid was voted best driver of the day, he came 8th in the end I think, knocked out by a D1 Driver in a tuned Skyline. Impressive considering he doesn't have a handbrake(!!!) and the car is a stock 340 1.7 with a welded diff and chopped suspension....

(he uses a combination of shift-lock and pumping the clutch to lose traction).

Well the KC's are sitting up front + I'm running one behind Bilbo so he'd better remove that interior mirror LOL
