Hey there ppls,
I might be that 'Australian' that can help u with ur kit james 8) lol
For me it is rare to see a 360 without aircon here, PAS is only on after-sale imports and i have never seen it personally. (gathering parts for mine atm)
If anyone wants any help with parts or photos/ diagrams/ specs on the 360 (B19 and B200) A/C Let me know
I have no problem getting the parts either but i know that postage costs will deter most of you guys overseas
Anyways id be glad to help anyone who is interested

As I said in the offers section... I'm still after just the button (and maybe the evapourator as well...) depending on what you can manage, maybe 2 of each ;) I have some pennies stashed away, and also have some power steering parts in the shed!

Does the Evaporator drop straight into the non A/C Cars?
is the Blower case the same?
And those parts arent hard to get so its just postage that might bite

Ok, Well let me get my shiz together and get some research done.
Btw We (Aussies) dont seem to call the 360's mkII mkIII or such... so what year were MkIII's from?
86'? that seems to have been the last of the major changes that id noticed... but then again we only got 360's and 340's until 87' :(

One other little thing, the radiator shroud on a 360 without A/C... does it have the opening for an electric fan? (near the radiator top-hose)

Mk2's came in in 81/82 iirc, and Mk3's were '86 as you say. I don't think you got Mk1's, they are rare as over here too. Mk2's have a turning knob for the aircon (buy the clock/ashtray/fag lighter) and Mk3's have an on/off button (with a snowflake on it) further up the center of the dash.

I think your right, they dropped the B200's into 360's in early 85 and later that year the made all the changes the are the mkIII as u guys call them.
I can get both aircons fairly easily.. MkII and III
with II's prob being the more common. But unless the evaporator is a different shape (which i doubt), the only difference is the A/C control (i.e Thermostat inside the car beside clock rather than mounted in the side of the Blower case and only a switch used inside the car for control)
Seeing as the connections to the thermostat go through a few joins, it may well be that most of the wiring is the same with slightly different "endings" plugged in on the control side .

I will investigate this when i hop down to the scrappies

The heater box is a slightly different shape between the two, but whether or not the evapourator is a different shape I wouldn't like to say. I don't have VADIS on this computer to check either :(

Let us know how you get on mate, and thanks again!
