Those are Motonet mudflaps so those are more like elastic plastic than rubber. Though surface could be smoother...

That would require some welding and metal works and those are impossible, if I could make such jobs then I would have one for sureDuvel78 wrote:LOL, excellent!Fuse wrote:I bought new flaps for winter, haven't installed the yet but they work kinda well as mousepads too...

Not nesseseraly. The seat is only fixed to the car with 4 Bolts (with allen key heads), It's quite scary that that's all that holds you down. Office seats are often held with bolts. If so, you only need a sheet of wood. Bolt it to the office seat base, and then the Volvo seat to it
The only problem is that the car seats are quite high, so you'll need the seat base to be fairly low if you don't want to end up too high

MJ's right... he must have been researching whilst the rest of us were driving
Both of my swivel chairs I've made by taking the forward adjustment subframe off, bolting the two runners to a piece of board, and then bolting a knackered chair base to the board as well. Usually the chair base is angled, as are the seat runners, so a bit of trial and error is required, and as MJ says, the seat is a lot thicker than a normal chair, so you have to run at the lowest setting, but both mine worked just right.
