I wonder if it's the R5GTT engine, or has someone turboed the 1.4 block of the 340.

interresting.. unfortunately there are no detail photo's of the engine.
But I don't like the looks of the car.....
Its almost the same I'm doing. So Im not the first with a 1.4T conversion
can someone translate it into english?

Yeah I don't like the looks either, too much "cheap ricey" stuff involved..
There are not many specs said in the text, just that it is 1.4 turbo intercooler, 0.9 bar of boost (has tried 1.7, I wonder what he has done with the engine), front is lowered a bit and it has been his daily driver.

I see an engine pic now. Looks like a turbo strapped onto an adaptor on the end of the standard manifold, with a pressure box around the standard carb. In other words...a turbocharged standard engine.

That fan doesn't look anything like the one I had on my 1.4 though, looks viscous to me. Really is true bodgery at its best!

Yeah 340's pre late 1983/early 1984 were v/c fans
1989 - Volvo 360 GLT
1985 - Volvo 360 GLS
2008 - Volvo S60 SE Lux

I think they went straight from directly coupled (to the water pump) to e-fan on the B14 cars.

It's the same as the B200...oh..wait...that would assume you'd looked under the bonnet
