Ummm, now let me think, right, method sounds to be similar as what you use when you make gold coating.

Also sheet of silver, warm water + salt makes silver polishing machine, you just put knives and forks to water and they will clean up, no electricity needed, well, I think it generated electricity itself actually or something like that.

Zink coating, that would be handy, however for some reason there is somewhat high temperatures involved in zinking process (why that did sound so strange?) :P

I would need pool around size of 300, then would need to strip 360 to only shell and dip it in, damn there is just too much rust to fix it without spending XXXX€

They teach this on the GCSE Chemistry syllabus ;) Must admit I've never got round to trying it, but it's crossed my mind a few times.

What random car parts are steel that I could sacrifice for the anode? I'm guessing any bit of knackered exhaust?

Also, the line of sight thing is very true, having multiple electrodes in is only going to help a very tiny bit unless they are all equal distances from the piece. Its very much like the multiple electrode spark plug arguement, only for the de rusting the electrolyte itself has a much higher conductivity than air, so tolerance distances are very much increased. The best thing would be a way to spin the piece without tangling the wires, or just turning it every 30mins if not.

Coca cola does work :)

I'm just waiting when there is such method that does not require water, just hook up anode and cathode to door and puff rust is gone
