have a look at some of the other threads here , yes you can probably get a k+n but there are issues surrounding carb icing if you use one

right any suggestions as i saw a pic of a red 340 on here with a pipe onto the carb and a k&n cone filter

Mick's right, you'll encounter possible running problems owing to no hot air supply and also you probably won't actually gain any more power, you'll might even start to lose power because the car will start running lean.

well i guess i'll just leave it standard either that or a renualt 19 16 v engine

i driled holes around the outside of my air box.

This gives more power than 2 cone filters and there is no negative effects either
Well, unless you take hot air from engine bay.

Didn't Adam have K&N filters when he had the 1.4?
